Cancellation Policy:
If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your trip, the following fees will apply and be computed as of the date of receipt of the written cancellation notice.
• All Cancellations must be received in writing to the email address info@karmatrails.com;
• For the High Season (Christmas, New Years, and Holy Week / Easter), a different Cancellation Policy may apply;
MULTIDAY TOURS ANS PACKAGES (with Hotels Booking):
- If the cancellation notice is received more than 60 days before the beginning of the activities: the banking fee (reception and return of payment) will be charged;
- If the cancellation notice is received a minimum of 45 days before the beginning of the activities: 20% of the total amount, plus return banking fee will be charged;
- If the cancellation notice is received a minimum of 30 days before the beginning of the activities: 30% of the total amount, plus return banking fee will be charged;
- If the cancellation notice is received a minimum of 15 days before the beginning of the activities: 50% of the total amount, plus return banking fee will be charged;
- If the cancellation notice is received a minimum of 7 days before the beginning of the activities: 70% of the total amount, plus return banking fee will be charged;
- If the cancellation notice is received less than 7 days before the beginning of the activities: 100% of the total amount will be charged;
- If the customer doesn`t notice any cancellation and doesn`t assist at the meeting point of each activity: 100% of the total amount will be charged;
ONE-DAY TOURS AND TRANSFERS:
For Individuals Travelers (1/9 people):
- If the cancellation notice is received a minimum of 48 hours before the beginning of the activities: the banking fee (reception and return) will be charged;
- If the cancellation notice is received a minimum of 24 hours before the beginning of the activities: 20% of the total amount, plus return banking fee will be charged;
- If the cancellation notice is received the same day of the activity: 100% of the total amount;
- If the customer doesn`t notice any cancellation and doesn`t assist at the meeting point of the activity: 100% of the total amount will be charged;
For Group Travelers (10 and more people):
- If the cancellation notice is received more than 15 days before the beginning of the activities: only the banking fee (reception and return of payment) will be charged;
- If the cancellation notice is received a minimum of 7 days before the beginning of the activities: 20% of the total amount, plus return banking fee will be charged;
- If the cancellation notice is received a minimum of 5 days before the beginning of the activities: 50% of the total amount, plus return banking fee will be charged;
- If the cancellation notice is received less than 5 days before the beginning of the activities: 100% of the total amount will be charged;
- If the customer doesn`t notice any cancellation and doesn`t assist at the meeting point of each activity: 100% of the total amount will be charged;
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF “Force Majeure”:
If the cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances, which can cause the possibility of performance of the obligations undertaken at the time of booking, no charges will be applied to the customer. Are considered circumstances of “Force Majeure”:
- Coup d’etat;
- Act of war;
- Acts of God;
- SeHydro-Meteorologicalgical conditions (as Hurricanes, Cyclone, Earthquake, and Dust Storm), which can influence the performance of the activities.
- Pandemics that generate lockdowns and state border closures that affect Mexico or the country of origin of the client.
Each of these circumstances must be demonstrated by the service provider or the customer by submitting official communications and notifications, issued by the government authorities of the countries involved.
The amount paid at the time of cancellation, will be partially considered for a future rescheduling of the services (50%) and partially refunded to the customer.
