Day 2 – Mexico City – Tuxtla Gutiérrez – Cañon del Sumidero – San Cristobal

Start the day by having breakfast at your hotel restaurant then be prepared to depart
from Mexico City to Chiapas on a domestic flight. Upon arrival at Tuxtla Gutierrez you’ll be transferred to the Sumidero Canyon, where you’ll enjoy a speed boat tour in the river, admiring the walls of natural formation, some higher than 1200 meters. Afterword, you’ll be visiting the small village of Chapa de Corzo, where you will learn more about the local culture and traditions. In the afternoon we will continue on the road to San Cristobal de las Casas. Accommodation at the hotel and free time to walk in the historic center.
