A typical “Mexican Sunday”, taking a boat ride through the channels of Xochimilco on a “trajinera”, surrounded by a floating world of mariachi and marimba music. Visit to Ciudad Universitaria (University town), declared by UNESCO “Human Patrimony”, which was built on a petrified sea of Lava. On the way back we will stop at Coyoacan, an old colonial town which is now incorporated into Mexico City, and we will cross also Insurgentes Avenue, the longest in Mexico City, passing by the Insurgentes Theater, popular for its Diego's mosaic mural, icons of Mexican theater stories.
