Day 1 – Cancun (or Playa del Carmen) - Valladolid - Cenotes Cuzama - Hacienda Tepich
After breakfast at your hotel you will depart to the colonial city of Valladolid where you will enjoy a guided tour downtown visiting the main plaza and its majestic cathedral.
Later prepare yourself to discover the cenotes Cuzama, 3 different cenotes located in the middle of the jungle where you can swim and relax in its crystal-clear waters.
At the end of the tour you will be transferred to the Hacienda Tepich, an antique colonial building surrounded by large gardens and unique architecture where you can enjoy authentic Yucatan food at the hotel restaurant.
Day 2 – Hacienda Tepich - Izamal – Merida - Hacienda Misné
After having breakfast at your hotel you will depart to the colonial city of Izamal, where you can admire its unique streets where most of the houses and buildings are painted in white and yellow, the colors of the Vatican due to the visit of Pope John Paul II in 1992. You will also have the opportunity to visit the temple of the Immaculate Conception and the former Convent of San Antonio de Padua.
In the afternoon you will be transferred to Merida the capital of Yucatan , where you can enjoy a guided tour of downtown visiting the famous Plaza Mayor and Casa de Montejo. At the end of the visit you’ll be transferred to Hacienda Misné, an antique colonial building with Spanish and French architecture that will take you back in the time to the colonial age.
Day 3 – Hacienda Misnè – Uxmal - Hacienda Yaxcopoil - Sotuta de Peón
After breakfast you will be transferred to to the archeological site of Uxmal, the most important of “Ruta Puuc”, to discover the famous temple of Casa del Adivino and learn about another Mayan era, them culture and traditions and the way they used to live. Following visit to Hacienda Yaxcopoil one of the largest and most fascinating ranches of Yucatan. Today it's preserved as a museum where you can admire the elegance of Casa Grande, a former residence of the owners that still have the original furnishings and where you can still find ancient machinery that helped in the
production of Henequen.Following transfer to Hacienda Sotuta de Peon, a fascinating ranch built in the late 19th century at Tecoh, Yucatan, now serving as an elegant colonial hotel that offers its visitors a unique tour to discover more about the production of Henequen.
Day 4 – Tour Hacienda Sotuta de Peón
After breakfast at your hotel you will enjoy a tour of Hacienda Sotuta de Peon. The first
stop is at the main house where you can see the long and shining corridors covered in French tile and its elegant antique furniture. Then at the machine house you will learn about the Henequen production from the processing of the raw fiber to obtaining the final product, you will also learn more about the machinery used in this process and discover how they worked.
At the end of the tour you can enjoy the rest of the afternoon at Hacienda Sotuta de Peon.
Day 5 – Hacienda Sotuta de Peón - Chichén Itzá - Riviera Maya
After having breakfast at your hotel, prepare yourself to visit one of the most famous archaeological sites: Chichen Itza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
At Chichen Itza you will find the Temple of the God ‘Kukulkan’ which is represented by a feathered snake, the Astronomical Observatory and the Temple of the Mayan Warriors.
In the afternoon you will be transferred to the hotel of your choice at the Riviera Maya.
