Sian Kaan Biosphere Tour

It was my last day in Playa Del Carmen and it could not have ended better . I met with the concierge Ray at the illusions hotel and he recommended this tour . He explained that I would be taken to an unspoiled undeveloped area an hour from Tulum but it would be a great experience. I explained that sometimes I get car sick so he arranged for me to sit in the front on the side of the driver and arranged a boxed lunch for me. He gave me his cell number in case I had any questions . Ray gave me excellent service and information. Now on to the tour. Following the drive through unspoiled roads we got on a boat which took us to a lagoon to see Dolphins . So amazing ! We had 5 swimming alongside our boat . So adorable! Then we moved on to an area for bird watching . Nature at its best ! But wait there was more ! On the way to the reef where we would snorkel we looked for turtles . It was a bit cloudy so the water wasn’t clear so it was hard to see but our Italian guide Enza was amazing . She did not give up and promised we’d try again after snorkeling . Well it was our lucky day ! Enza found the turtle . So cute when it’s head popped out of the water ! Then we headed to an area to swim where the water was clear and pristine . The color of the water was unreal . We ended the day with a nice meal in a small village and then drove back to Tulum. What a fabulous day and great experience! Perfect end to my vacation !
